Loic Bade is set to leave Sevilla for Germany, with Stuttgart or Hoffenheim likely to join him. Stuttgart and Sevilla have agreed on a €20 million transfer fee for Loïc Badé, but Stuttgart now faces the challenge of convincing the French center-back to join their ranks. Badé has been a crucial part of Sevilla’s defense this season, making him a valuable asset for any team.
Ufabet reported on Saturday that Sevilla are considering selling France 2024 Olympic silver medallist Loic Bade for around €20m in a bid to shore up the club’s balance sheet.
Bade was name as an unused substitute in Sevilla’s 2-2 draw at Las Palmas on Friday, with Spanish publication claiming the Sevilla executives ask coach Francisco Javier Garcia Pimenta not to risk the 24-year-old defender to avoid an injury that could jeopardise his future.
Loïc Badé has been a key figure in Sevilla’s defensive lineup this season. Standing at 1.91 meters, Badé’s physical presence and defensive skills have made him a formidable center-back. Born in Sèvres, France, the 24-year-old has also represented France at the international level, making his senior debut on July 24, 2024. This season, Badé has played 28 matches for Sevilla, accumulating 2283 minutes on the pitch.
German side UFABET Stuttgart are reportedly the favourites to sign Bade after the Whites made an offer close to Sevilla’s €20m asking price, while Hoffenheim are also among the German outfits to have made enquiries over the French centre-back.
Despite Bade’s desire to continue playing for the Andalusian giants, the club’s management is keen to sell the player to raise funds to help improve the club’s financial situation.
