Carlo Ancelotti speaks ahead of Real Madrid’s trip to Mallorca in the new season opener on Sunday.
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is confident his current squad at Los Blancos have what it takes to fight for success in every competition they take part in this season ahead of their season opener against Mallorca on Sunday, reported on Saturday.
‘The league starts tomorrow with all the hopes to defend the title. Another coach has arrived there (Mallorca), he is very experienced and very talented. We have to fight to win,’ Ancelotti said.
Real Madrid will play in seven competitions this season after winning their first UEFA Super Cup by beating Atalanta 2-0. Asked if they would go on to win the remaining six,
‘We don’t know how many tournaments we have to play. There are two tournaments (the Club World Cup and the Intercontinental Cup) that are not clear yet, but we will play every game to our full potential.’
‘Nobody is talking about seven competitions. We are talking about the games we have to play. Above all, the games tomorrow. There is no other way of thinking. The calendar demands it. With this team, we can compete for everything, for sure.’
‘We think about the reality โปรโมชั่น ufabet, especially the players. They are the ones who have to play the game and they know when it’s difficult to win. The game requires quality, sacrifice. Thinking too much ahead is not good for anything.’
‘Of course we can’t think about what will happen in May. We have to work every day to get to May and win every game.’
‘We are not thinking about the 25/26 season. It may start earlier because of the World Cup, but we are still in this season. The players need a break, they need a holiday. We are thinking about giving each player a break.’
‘Players cannot play one week and then go on holiday with their families, especially the national team players who have very little rest, they don’t have a single day off. We are assessing this together with the medical team and the physios,’ the Italian coach replied.
